Privacy Policy
Part 107 Trainer, published by Appana Ventures LLC. Last updated October 24, 2026.
Part 107 Trainer works offline, has no account, and does not collect personal data. There are no ads, no analytics, and no tracking of any kind. The only network request the app makes is a check for content corrections, described below.
What stays on your device
Your practice progress, meaning which questions you have answered, your accuracy per topic, and your queue of missed questions, is stored only in the app's local storage on your own device. It never leaves the device. Deleting the app deletes it.
What is not collected
No analytics, no advertising identifiers, no crash reporting, no location data, no contacts, no hardware device identifiers, and no third-party trackers. There is no sign-up and no login.
Content updates
Every question and chart is bundled inside the app, so studying never needs a connection.
When the app opens and a connection is available, it checks Expo's update server for content
corrections, so a fix can reach you without waiting for an App Store or Google Play release.
This check is made by expo-updates, a library from Expo. The request tells
Expo's server the app's runtime version, your platform (iOS or Android), the update channel,
the identifier of the update currently installed on your device, and a random identifier
that the library creates for this installation of the app. The library uses that random
identifier to roll updates out gradually. It is not your device's hardware or advertising
identifier, and it is not tied to an account. As with any internet request, Expo's servers
also see your IP address. We add nothing else to the request, and we do not link it to you.
How Expo handles the request is described in Expo's privacy policy. If you are
offline, the app skips the check and keeps working.
Price and purchases
Every feature is included in the app, and there are no in-app purchases, no subscriptions and no ads. The app itself takes no payment and never asks for payment details. When you buy the app, Apple or Google handles the payment under its own privacy policy, and we receive no payment details from it. If the app ever sells anything inside it, this policy will be updated before the release that changes it.
Pre-release testing
If you test a pre-release version through Apple's TestFlight or Google Play testing, those services collect their own information about testers, for example your email address and any feedback or crash data you choose to send, under Apple's and Google's privacy policies. We see only what those services show the developer, plus anything you choose to send us.
Disputed questions
If you use the dispute button to report a question, the report is saved on your device. It is only sent anywhere if you explicitly choose to share it using your device's share sheet, and you can see exactly what it contains before you send it. A report includes the question identifier, the answer the app gave, the content version, and any note you write. It does not include anything that identifies you.
Children
The app is a study aid for an adult professional certification and is not directed at children. Because it collects no personal data, it collects none from children either.
Changes
If this policy changes, the updated version will be posted at this address with a new date.
